The Last Month & A Half...

It is so hard to try to catch up on your blog once you fall behind!!!! You would think I would learn to stay caught up with entries, but yet a month and a half just came and went without even checking into the blog!!! So much for keeping our family journal up to date. In all fairness to myself, this month has been quite chaotic and a little crazy!!! So I am sorry these entries will be quite long with lots of pictures!!! Where to start...? That is the question...

I think I will start right before we moved. Back on March 19th, we were still in Columbus, Georgia struggling to get everything done that we needed to before we moved. The movers from the Army came and packed up our house, we had to do several things for the car to ensure that it could be shipped, and we had to clean our apartment before leaving. We opted to hire cleaners for the final task (Great Choice on our part!!!!) We spent that final week cleaning, packing, shipping, and doing more cleaning. But we were able to squeeze a fun hockey game in there somewhere and we were able to go to the Infantry Museum in Columbus one more time!!! We also spent time saying goodbye to our close friends at Ft. Benning!!!

Finally on March 20th with all of our stuff packed and shipped, we checked out of our apartment and headed to Atlanta for a couple of days before our flight to Frankfurt. It was such a fun way to say goodbye to good ol' Georgia. We spent a day at the Coke Museum and at the Aquarium. At the end of our day of fun, we went to dinner at a place called Legal Seafood (right across from the Aquarium). If you ever get the chance to go to the Atlanta Aquarium, YOU NEED TO GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!! It was by far, the BEST seafood I have ever had in my entire life!!! And I LOVE seafood and I have had a lot of it in my day!!!! We thought this would be a great way to spend our last day in Atlanta before leaving to Germany!!! It was such a fabulous day!!!! :)

  7. Cute pics Paige. Your life will certainly be an interesting one. It seems like the only time you really get any work done is when Andy is away. You two have so much fun when you are together! I love that! Keep it up and have the best time ever. These months go by very quickly!

  8. Love the pictures and the updates. Glad you arrived safely and have settled in. Tell Andy, I'm not so sure about the sweatshirt he is wearing but I guess we'll love him anyways, despite his choice of colors.
